A suspected serial robber continues to be arrested in Riverside, officials said Saturday.
Investigators on Friday arrested Thomas K. McGowan, 31, at his home in connection with a string of armed robberies in the area, the Riverside Region Sheriff’s Department said in a online press release service.
McGowan’s alleged robbery streak began Oct. 21 with the hold-up of a Yum Yum Donuts near the 8900 Prevent of Limonite Avenue in Jurupa Valley, Sgt. Samuel Flores said.
McGowan allegedly robbed two Shell gasoline stations and a bakery two weeks later, Flores said.
His most recent alleged transgression, the particular robbery of a Circle K within Riverside, gave detectives enough details to tie McGowan to the criminal offenses.
McGowan was booked for suspicion of five counts of second-degree robbery, kidnapping, false imprisonment and other criminal offenses.
Authorities did not give detairegarding why he or she was charged with kidnapping were not clear.
