Bicyclist Dies After Northridge “hit and run”

Law enforcement believe this silver Kia Mustang convertible may be coupled to the fatal “hit and run” that killed the bicyclist Monday night time. The windshield cup was shattered.

The bicyclist who was struck by a hit-and-run car owner in Northridge died within the hospital Tuesday early morning just hours after the crash, police said.

A person in his 20s or 30s was traveling his bike near the intersection regarding Plummer Street as well as Winnetka Avenue when a driver struck your pet before fleeing about nine p. meters. Monday, said Lt. Debra Brounsten from the Los Angeles Law enforcement Department’s Valley Traffic Division.

The victim was transported to Northridge Hospital, where he died hours later, Brounsten said.

Law enforcement found a silver Kia Mustang convertible they think is coupled to the hit-and-run around the 10100 block regarding Oso Avenue, as well as video from the picture showed the sports car with a shattered windshield.

Law enforcement were still looking for the driver by Tuesday early morning.
